식물이 가지고 있는 따뜻하고 오묘한 색을 표현하고 감각 하는 작업을 하고 있는 압화 작가입니다. 2012년 압화를 시작하여 현재는 꽃이 피고 시들어 사라지는 과정 안에서 다양한 방법으로 꽃을 감수하고 질문하고 각자의 경험 안에서 만들어낸 시간과 빛을 식물로 기록하고 있습니다.
2022년 경기도 우수 출판물 제작 지원 선정작으로 빛날화의 꽃누르미 그림책 「반짝반짝 」을 출간하였고 식물로 그림을 그리고 이야기를 만들면서 들었던 다양한 고민과 감정을 반영하여 꽃과 식물을 다양한 방법으로 관찰, 분석하면서 새롭게 감각 하고 그 속에서 생겨나는 질문들과 고민이 스스로도 모르게 가지고 있던 생각과 틀에 균열이 갔으면 하는 바람으로 문화 예술 교육 활동과 작품 활동을 하고 있습니다.
I am an artist who expresses and senses the warm and subtle colors that plants have. I started making prints in 2012 and now record the time and light created by each person's experience by accepting and questioning flowers in various ways within the process of blooming and withering.
Recently, I published a picture book called "Twinkle Twinkle" as a selected work for excellent publication support in Gyeonggi-do in 2022. While drawing pictures with plants and creating stories, I reflected on various concerns and emotions I had while observing and analyzing flowers and plants in various ways. I hope that the questions and concerns that arise from the process of creating something new will crack the thoughts and frames that I had unknowingly and engage in cultural and artistic educational activities and artwork.
